Good day to you!

If you’ve visited The Wharf House recently, you’ll see that we have our terrace area now adorned with tables and chairs, and if you haven’t been to see us recently, then don’t delay in taking the chance to relax by the riverside in the sunshine!

Our gorgeous borders are flowering magnificently, and we even a batch of blue tits already hatched in one of our bird boxes! It’s an exciting time for nature down at The Wharf House.

It’s also an exciting time for the taste buds, as one again our menu is changing with the seasons. Our new lunch and evening menus will be up online shortly, and pop in to check out the changes to the Light Bites menu, which now includes a range of sandwiches to quench your hunger! We also have our historic tug back in the water and it’s looking good, so do come down to take a look at that!

The Bed and Breakfast is coming along nicely, the top floor is almost complete and we’re just waiting for the furniture to go in now, so new photo’s should be up soon to give a taster of what’s to come throughout the rest of the building. Unfortunately, our opening date can not be confirmed currently, but the delays are only to ensure everything’s done properly and to the high standard we demand in order to make your visit as good as it can be!
