Need a venue to hold your function? Whether its a wedding party, birthday party or just a general gathering, The Wharf House could be the perfect place. Set in an idylic riverside location with a waterside terrace, The Wharf House restaurant has a maximum capacity seated of 52 persons for a seated meal and 85 persons for a buffet style meal.

Why not have your Wedding Receptions at The Wharf House! We will be very happy to take time with you your exact requirements, and devise specific, individual menus as elaborate, or simple, as you require. Should you have any specific requests for drinks, flowers, or any other special touches, we are pleased to work with you to make your day exactly right for you.

The Riverside terrace makes the perfect location for drinks and photographs, as does the backdrop of the recently restored canal basin. Your guests can gather in either the visitor's centre, or on the terrace, for canapes and drinks, prior to your meal in the main restaurant.

En suite bedrooms are avaliable within, with the ballard suite located on the top floor having luxury two person spa-baths. Each of our 7 executive bedrooms offer wonderful views of the River Severn or the canal basin, and each is fitted with Wide-screen TVs, and walk-in WiFi.

The Wharf House is conveniently located for both Cheltenham and Gloucester, opposite Telfords Bridge near the junction of the A40/A417, on the western edge of Gloucester. At the gateway to the Cotswolds from Wales, the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley, The Wharf House offers a great location to stay and visit the surrounding area.
